Mother Nature threw down a challenge for drivers at the October 5th ACGL lapping day. Mist, drizzle, and gusty winds added up to a very technical day on BIR's Competition Course. The low-traction conditions highlighted how the quattro system really shines! In spite of the rough conditions, no major incidents ensued, and it was a great learning opportunity. (At least it didn't snow!)
During the first half of the day, Senior ACGL instructors were on the scene to train a new crop of instructors for the club. Instructor candidates received classroom training and also did role playing exercises on the track, with the senior instructors playing the role of novice and intermediate students. Congratulations to these new instructors!
