On one of the most beautiful days of sunshine 30+ members met for coffee at the Dunn Brothers in Eden Prairie. From there we caravanned down to New Ulm for beer, German food and a car show.

Schell's Brewery is tucked into a hillside with gardens, woods, old brick buildings and even a few peacocks to grace the grounds. We had a tour followed by beer sampling in their bier garden. There were so many great types of beers it was hard to decide on a favorite. So we had to sample some more than once! We also found out that Schell's bought out Grain Belt and makes that beer.

Next was a drive to Kaiserhoff's Restaurant for an authentic German food. If you like sauerkraut, the sauerkraut balls were outstanding.

The Auto Fest included cars from the 50's to the present. I enjoyed taking a trip down memory lane seeing some of the cars that my parents owned such as the Ford Fairlane and Buick La Sabre. One of the favorite cars I owned was a Olds Cutlass Supreme from 1980. There was one there in almost the same colors.

Check out the pictures when they are posted.
